Full Job Description
Position Summary...
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build and scale a next-generation Digital Twin Simulations Platform for retail operations. The role is focused on architecting the platform, establishing engineering best practices, and translating complex data science models into high-performance, production-ready solutions. Working closely with Data Scientists, you will ensure seamless integration across data pipelines, user interfaces, agentic workflows, and simulation engines. Success in this role requires strong technical leadership, scalable system design expertise, and the ability to deliver reliable platforms that optimize and predict retail operations across supply chain, inventory, store, and customer domains.

What you'll do...
  • Platform Architecture & Integration: Design and support the end-to-end digital twin platform, ensuring seamless integration across data lakes, simulation engines, and visualization layers.
  • Scalable Simulation Systems: Build and optimize high-throughput computing systems to run large-scale simulations with low latency and high performance.
  • Agentic Orchestration: Develop orchestration frameworks for agent-based and LLM-driven simulations that enable dynamic, intelligent scenarios.
  • Cross-function Collaboration: Drive productionization of models and transform research code into scalable software solutions.
  • User Experience & Visualization: Enable responsive, real-time dashboards by connecting backend simulation data to intuitive user interfaces.
  • Engineering Excellence: Drive best practices in software development, including CI/CD, automated testing, version control, and modular architecture.

What you'll bring..
  • Experience: 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong focus on backend systems, platform architecture, or high-performance computing.
  • Programming Languages: Expert-level proficiency in Python and at least one high-performance language (e.g., Go, C++, Rust, or Java).
  • Systems Engineering: Deep understanding of distributed systems, multi-threading, concurrency, and memory management to support low-latency applications.
  • Data Integration: Strong background in connecting complex data architectures (SQL, NoSQL, Kafka, Spark) to application layers.
  • Cloud & Containerization: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP, or Azure), Docker, and Kubernetes for scalable deployments.
