Role summary:

As the Principal Data Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of comprehensive data architectures that support business objectives and data governance standards. This role requires expertise in data modeling, integration, and quality management across multiple platforms, including cloud and big data technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable data solutions, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility. By driving strategic data initiatives and mentoring team members, you will enhance data-driven decision-making and contribute to the continuous improvement of Walmart's data ecosystem.

The team leads the advancement of data governance within the finance domain, ensuring reliable and accessible data for all associates. They design and implement robust data architectures, develop comprehensive data models, and establish effective data strategies aligned with business objectives. By maintaining high standards of data quality and governance, the team supports informed decision-making and operational excellence. Collaborating across functions, they drive innovation in data management practices and promote adherence to regulatory and ethical requirements, enabling the organization to leverage data as a trusted and valuable asset.
What you'll do:

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
