Role summary:
The Manager, Learning and Development, leads the design, implementation, and evaluation of comprehensive training programs that align with business objectives and enhance workforce capabilities. This role involves collaborating with key stakeholders to identify learning needs, developing effective content, and ensuring program effectiveness through performance analysis. The manager fosters continuous improvement by promoting best practices and supporting associate development through coaching and mentoring. Upholding company policies and ethical standards, this position drives operational excellence and contributes to a culture of accountability, adaptability, and sustained organizational growth.
About the team:
The Walmart Academy Home Office Strategy and Content Team develops and implements learning strategies that drive measurable behavior change aligned with business priorities. They set standards for creating behavior-based, instructionally sound, and accessible content at scale. This team manages content development from ideation to delivery, collaborating closely with business partners and internal teams. Their efforts ensure consistent, high-quality learning experiences that support organizational goals and enhance performance across the company. The team's focus on stakeholder engagement and performance management fosters effective learning solutions that advance Walmart's mission and operational success.
What you'll do:

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to a specific plan or program terms.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
