Position Summary...
Manager, Finance
Location: Open to candidates based at one of the following Distribution Centers:
• DC 6006 - Cullman, AL
• DC 6039 - Midway, TN
• DC 7038 - Fort Pierce, FL
• DC 6066 - Hopkinsville, KY
• DC 6054 - LaGrange, GA
• DC 6070 - Shelby, NC

Join Walmart's Supply Chain Finance team as a Manager supporting Labor Optimization across the Regional Distribution Center (RDC) network. This role will be based onsite at a Southeast RDC a minimum of three days per week, with approximately 25% annual travel throughout the region.
As part of a new and growing team, you will help shape how staffing optimization is integrated into existing business processes. This role combines financial and analytical expertise, operational partnership, and change management to develop forward looking labor plans and translate data into actionable staffing and productivity recommendations.

What you'll do...
  • Own weekly Labor Optimization planning for assigned RDCs, developing forward-looking staffing and productivity plans aligned to forecasted demand.
  • Partner with site and divisional leadership to validate assumptions, identify risks, and translate insights into actionable staffing recommendations.
  • Analyze actual performance against Labor Optimization plans, identify root causes of variances, and communicate recommendations to leadership.
  • Partner across Operations, HR, Engineering, Analytics, and Technology to improve labor productivity and optimize variable costs.
  • Drive adoption and change management as Labor Optimization is integrated into existing operational and financial processes.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and build scalable tools, reporting, and decision-support mechanisms.

  • Comfort working directly within an operational environment and developing an understanding of distribution center processes and labor drivers.
  • Preferred technical experience with BigQuery, Python, and Visual Studio Code, along with the ability to leverage AI tools for analytics, automation, and process improvement.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
