About the team: Our team leads large-scale automation deployments across Walmart's supply chain, transforming distribution center operations through advanced technologies. We utilize data analysis and advanced analytics to enhance operational efficiency, system performance, and continuous improvement. Managing end-to-end integration of automation systems, we ensure seamless execution in complex environments. Collaborating with cross-functional partners, we deliver scalable solutions that optimize processes and support Walmart's long-term automation strategy. This role, based in Marcy, NY, involves up to 25% travel to support site deployments and supplier coordination.
What you'll do: - Leverage data analysis tools to develop insights that influence strategic automation initiatives.
- Design, test, and implement automation systems to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new automation technologies and resolve related issues.
- Manage project plans, schedules, and resources to ensure timely delivery of automation projects.
- Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost reduction.
- Document workflows, implementation plans, and project status reports for stakeholder communication.
- Support talent development by coaching team members and fostering technical skill growth.
What you'll bring: - Proven expertise in automation system design, integration, and project implementation within supply chain environments.
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to leverage advanced analytics and visualization tools to influence strategic decisions.
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma or Kaizen to drive operational excellence.
- Effective project management capabilities, including planning, estimating, and tracking multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to communicate clearly and credibly, presenting insights and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Knowledge of engineering economics and business case development to support automation investments.
- Leadership skills to mentor and develop team members while fostering collaboration and accountability.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
