The VP, IT Business Management leads the governance of IT function operations including financial oversight and business effectiveness. The VP is the accountable owner to ensure that IT has structured processes to ensure definition, measurement and achievement of strategy and outcomes. This leader owns the operating function including the processes to create and evaluate strategy, setting goals, defining and managing ongoing metrics, and ensuring effective communications and employee engagement.
Essential ResponsibilitiesStrategy- Define and execute an evergreen process to create and maintain enterprise and departmental IT strategies in coordination with peers.
- Create operational forums to review strategy alignment and effectiveness.
Financial Management- Establish the roles/responsibilities for IT budget and forecast management with Corporate Finance.
- Provide the center of excellence competency to assist leaders in estimation and forecasting.
- Align the approach for headcount, partner and capital expenditure.
Project Management- Define the capital planning process in coordination with budgets/forecasts.
- Create and lead the ongoing project management office to ensure effective delivery.
- Work with peers to define critical operating metrics and ensure appropriate tracking and escalation.
Communications and Culture- Ensure effective IT communication across the enterprise and to external stakeholders.
- Create transparency and facilitate coordination within IT using appropriate forums and tools.
- Create and lead an effective employee engagement approach.
Operations Discipline- Define and lead the appropriate approach to ensure operations discipline.
- Define key metrics and implement accurate measurement systems.
- Ensure transparency and escalation approaches.
Education- Bachelors - Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
- Experience
- Minimum of12 years of experience including at least 8+ years of experience in leadership within a technology and/or healthcare setting.
Skills- 12 years of experience with 8+ years of experience in leadership within a technology and/or healthcare setting.
- Experience in leading enterprise-wide technology governance functions within F500 companies.
- Demonstrated experience leading communications across board, external stakeholder and internal audiences.
- Strategic, enterprise thinker with strong execution discipline.
- Comfortable operating in transformational, complex environments.
- Strong communicator with ability to work across differing audiences.
For this US-based position, the base pay range is $211,268.66 - $264,085.82 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 30.00%
