Full Job Description

This role is a vital part of the Pharma Technical Operations Supply Chain US team, which connects patient needs to our global network to ensure a reliable supply of product. As a member of this team, you will serve as a key strategic bridge between the US commercial market and Global Supply Chain operations. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with diverse cross-functional partners to optimize end-to-end supply chain strategies and drive decisions that directly impact patient access.


The Opportunity

The US Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Business Partnerserves as the single point of contact and primary interface between Global Supply Chain and the US market, ensuring supply chain strategies are aligned with production capabilities. You will be responsible for balancing commercial sales plans with supply requirements to ensure continuous product availability while proactively mitigating risks. Key responsibilities include:

  • Build and maintain alignment between US market strategies, sales plans, and global manufacturing production capabilities.

  • Monitor monthly operational forecasts for accuracy and bias, ensuring all drivers for change are understood and aligned with stakeholders.

  • Perform sophisticated scenario analysis to evaluate supply agility, financial impacts, and inventory risks, providing actionable recommendations to leadership.

  • Lead brand-specific Supply Issue Management Teams (SIMT) during critical supply constraints to mitigate stockout risks and protect patient access.

  • Drive US supply chain readiness for new molecule and line extension launches, mapping the product journey to identify and resolve potential pain points prior to market entry.

  • Translate US demand signals into clear requirements for global stakeholders, educating commercial partners on the impact of demand fluctuations on manufacturing assets.

  • Maintain master data accuracy for Finished Goods (FG) in SAP, ensuring system reliability for distribution centers, safety stock targets, and lot sizes.

  • Gather and review customer insights, identifying opportunities for supply chain improvements to shift patient experience prior to and post launch.


Who You Are
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; a Master’s degree or MBA is highly preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Healthcare, Biotech, or Pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on supply chain management, production planning, or scheduling.

  • Demonstrated expertise in S&OP processes, demand planning, forecasting, and data analytics.

  • Solid understanding of pharmaceutical supply chain processes, including Material Requirements Planning, Capacity Planning, and regulatory environments.

  • Proficiency in ERP and supply chain systems, with specific experience in SAP and OMP preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to influence without authority and communicate complex data-driven stories to stakeholders at all levels.

  • Ability to maintain composure under high-pressure situations and lead cross-functional project teams effectively.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $128,900 - $239,500. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed in this .
