Full Job Description
Job Role:

The QHSE Manager is responsible for all Quality, Health, Safety, Cyber Security and Environmental compliance in the US, including audits, maintaining ISO accreditations including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001 & KPIs. The QHSE Manager will be responsible for maintaining QHSE related information up to date on all Customer Platforms for accreditations and procurement purposes.

Key Accountabilities:

The QHSE Manager is responsible for the following:

Health - Safety & Environment
  • Strategic oversight of field safety - Support US Field Safety Manager with proactive safety initiatives
  • Drive a positive and open Health and Safety Culture in the US
  • Define objectives and annual plans
  • Lead US internal and external audits including ISO audits
  • Roll out best practice across the business
  • Produce HSE reports for the Senior Leadership Team and Board Review
  • Ensure existing H&S process and policies are fit for purpose and reflect regulatory developments
  • Organise quarterly Safety Committees
  • Support tender processes and keep customer portals up to date
  • Raise internal awareness and advise on necessary training
  • Support the Global QHSE Manager implementing and reporting on ESG objectives and actions
  • Keep up-to-date on legislation changes/regulations and be a reference to others
  • Safey investigations
  • Management of ISN
  • Management of TSP for PG&E
  • Support to risk assessments (JHA/RAMS)
  • Update risk register (new equipment and procedures)


Quality
  • Ensure all Quality processes are accurate, up to date and being used in practice
  • Supports the creation of quality Assurance Plans where necessary
  • Agree, track and report on KPI
  • Keep up-to-date on legislation changes/regulations and be a reference to others


Cybersecurity
  • Ensure all Cybersecurity processes are accurate, up to date and being used in practice
  • Lead US internal and external audits including ISO audits
  • Agree and track and report on KPIs
  • Liaise with line Managers to implement Information Security Policies, risk assessments and support operational procedures


Essential Qualifications/Experience
  • Previous experience in leading ISO audits.
  • Previous experience in working on an interdisciplinary team and cross-functional collaboration with different parts of the business.
  • Experience of working in a multi-national organisation.
  • Intermediate Level user of Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.).
  • Outstanding communication and people skills.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent eye for detail and capacity to create and follow corporate and regional procedures.
  • Internal auditing qualification.
  • Certified Safety Professional or Associate Safety Professional Certifications
  • 5+ years leading QHSE in a utilities environment
