Job Description

Texas Instruments is actively seeking a US Payroll Tax Compliance Accountant to join our team. The US Payroll Tax Compliance Accountant oversees TI's payroll tax processes, ensuring accurate withholdings, reporting, and remittances across federal, state, and local jurisdictions. They mitigate tax and legal risks, resolve agency notices, and align system configurations between HCM and multiple vendor integrations with evolving tax legislation. The position will be responsible for facilitating all government reporting requirements for payroll taxes, withholding and employer contributions utilizing established guidelines, procedures, and policies.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related business field
  • 5 years of payroll tax experience


Preferred qualifications:
  • Oracle HCM payroll system experience
  • Payroll tax knowledge and experience with federal, state and local jurisdictions
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
  • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
