Purpose of the role

To maximise the value of the Research product through the targeting and marketing of content to Clients and ensuring best practice in negotiating and collecting revenue.

Accountabilities
  • Leverage data, analytics and feedback to understand our clients and competitive landscape; use the information to continuously monitor and decide where to allocate resources.
  • Management, continual improvement and execution of the Research content monetization processes and agenda.
  • Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities and improvements to the monetisation of Research.
  • Identification of and driving changes to systems and processes to continual improve the delivery to our internal stakeholders and Clients .
  • Adherence to the highest standards of risk management and controls; identification of potential risks and help to develop strategies to mitigate those risks.

Join our Cross Asset Content Client Strategy team and help shape how Barclays Research delivers insight, connectivity, and value to our most important institutional clients. In this role, you will bring together client intelligence, consumption trends, and revenue analytics to ensure our content, analyst engagement, events, and data offerings align with evolving buy-side priorities. You'll work closely with broker liaisons, COOs, and Heads of Research to understand their strategic needs, gather meaningful feedback, and translate those insights into actionable guidance for analysts, Research leadership, and Sales. By combining industry knowledge, analytical rigor, and thoughtful relationship management, you'll play a central part in strengthening our service model, identifying commercial opportunities, and supporting a more data-driven approach to client engagement.

A successful member of the Content Client Strategy team will have:

  • Experience in an AVP role (high performing)
  • Proven experience within Sell side Client Strategy or similar industry experience
  • Experience with Financial industry data - e.g. McLagan, Coalition, Extel
  • A sound understanding of Research consumption metrics
  • Working knowledge of industry systems - e.g. Bloomberg, Salesforce, Copilot, etc.

This role is located in New York.

Minimum Salary: $105,000

Maximum Salary:$130,000

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
