Qualifications

• Board Certified (or Board Eligible) and Licensed to practice medicine in Ohio
• Advanced degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Current DEA registration required
• Experience with procedures such as suturing and drainage of abscesses
• Proficient in reading diagnostic studies like x-rays and EKGs
• BLS certification (provided if needed)
• Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and implement high-quality medical care for patients with appropriate resource management
• Ensure high patient satisfaction by adhering to service and courtesy standards
• Provide patient care that complies with clinical policies and procedures
• Serve as a resource for patients, families, and staff
• Maintain accurate patient records and complete necessary documentation for billing
• Participate in operational meetings and activities at the urgent care center
• Engage in professional development and maintain required certifications
