Full Job Description
We are currently hiring for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Milwaukee, WI for our Urgent Care location.

If so, you can receive loan repayment assistance through the NHSC Loan Repayment Program (NHSC LRP) or you may be eligible to receive loan repayment assistance from the NHSC Students to Service Loan Repayment Program (NHSC S2S LRP).

What will you do?

Provide urgent health care for individuals under the supervision of a licensed physician. Elicits detailed patient histories and conducts complete physician examinations. Reaches diagnosis independently and in consultation with a collaborating Physician, as well as other staff physicians when appropriate.

What do you need to qualify?
  1. Graduate of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
  2. Currently licensed in the state of Wisconsin with at least one year of clinical experience
  3. Previous experience in an urgent care or emergency department is preferred.
  4. Must have the patience and tact to deal with the patient population and the ability to work effectively in the urgent care environment.
  5. A minimum commitment of 1 weekend/month is required.
