What You Will DoThis is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated independent Nurse Practitioner to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected Urgent Care Clinic, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.
- Join an established team of 1 physicians and 7 APPs
- Practice setting: Urgent Care
- Access to onsite X-ray and laboratory services for rapid diagnosis
- Employed position within a nonprofit health system
- Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
- Evaluate, diagnose and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and minor injuries in a fast-paced urgent care setting
- Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic tests including X-rays, laboratory studies, and point of care testing
- Provide procedures such as wound repair, splinting, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, and other urgent care interventions within scope of practice
- Document patient encounters accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record
About the Facility- K+Stat is staffed to handle multiple patients for minor illnesses and injuries, including pediatrics

What You Will NeedLicensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Certified Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing preferred.
Education:
- Master's degree of Nursing required.
Additional Preferences1 year of family practice or urgent care experience preferred.
