Key job responsibilities include:
- Generating design and planning alternatives for infrastructure and development projects.
- Leading analysis for structure, buildings, sites, networks, and neighborhoods.
- Producing clear diagrams to explain ideas, concepts, and alternatives.
- Assisting with outreach and engagement.
- 3D modeling and visualization in Rhino, Grasshopper, and Enscape, and AI-enabled design exploration tools.
- Writing and producing highly visual and conceptually clear reports and presentations.
- Preparing design documentation, guidelines, concept packages, and implementation materials.
- Providing code and policy review for architectural projects.
- Client and consultant coordination.

- Play a pivotal role in elevating the work of the Urban Systems Lab inside and outside of the office.
- Be in or willing to relocate to Seattle, working in person 4 days a week.
Minimum qualifications:
- Professional degree in urban design, landscape architecture, architecture, city planning, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a range of planning and urban design contexts
- Proficiency in existing and emerging design and visualization tools and technologies, such as the Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, Grasshopper, Revit, and Arc GIS
- Ability to self-direct and work independently as well as in a highly collaborative team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and analytical skills
Office & Hybrid HoursLMN employees collaborate in-office on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Fridays are hybrid workdays that allow employees to work in the office, from home, or any location they choose. This is a salaried position with a pay range of $90,000 to $105,000. Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
