Responsibilities

  • Respond to and manage customer issues stemming from sales effectively.
  • Maintain up-to-date account information in C4C, including profiles and visit reports.
  • Develop and execute an approved sales plan for assigned accounts.
  • Identify customer buying lines and track competitor activities.
  • Qualify and capture all sales leads and opportunities.
  • Maintain the opportunity pipeline in C4C to ensure sales tracking.
  • Collaborate with management to establish sales goals and coordinate promotional strategies.
  • Monitor prices and recommend adjustments or increases as necessary.
  • Participate in training to stay informed on technologies and competitors' offerings.

Full Job Description
The Upstream Sales Manager is responsible for driving profitable growth and market expansion for Sensia's Valves & Measurement portfolio within the U.S. upstream sector. This is a high-impact, customer-facing role combining strategic account development and hands-on sales execution. The successful candidate will act as a self-driven individual, identifying new opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and delivering differentiated technical solutions that address production, flow measurement, and automation challenges.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Plan client calls and make regular client visits to ensure appropriate call coverage of assigned accounts.
  • Ensure customer problems arising from sales are responded to and appropriately managed.
  • Maintain C4C for accounts, including customer profiling, organizational chart, visit reports, and customer drivers.
  • Create and action an approved sales plan for assigned account(s).
  • Capture customer BL and all local and international competitor activity (GAC).
  • Identify and qualify all sales leads and opportunities.
  • Maintain opportunity pipeline in C4C.
  • Work with management to develop sales goals and coordinate sales plans for promoting existing services and products and introducing new services and products.
  • Monitor price structure and pricing levels and recommend necessary changes and price increases.
  • Attend training courses to maintain knowledge of key technologies, competitor offerings, and practices.
  • Provide support for receivables management.
  • Contribute to multi-BL activities.


Qualifications and Experience
  • 5-8+ years of experience in upstream oil & gas sales, business development, or account management. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
