Title: Unix Infrastructure Lead

Location: Irving, Tx (Hybrid)

The Infrastructure Technology Lead Analyst is senior level role responsible for managing Unix Infrastructure for Unified Sector teams The overall objective is to use infrastructure technology knowledge and identified policies to process data resolve issues and execute administrative tasks We are looking for an individual who is Senior Unix System Administrator with 10 plus years of experience in production support preferably finance industry This is senior role for candidates who can improve operating efficacy time to market client persona and bolster team morale This is Subject matter Expert role for Unix Delivery System Administrator We support Unified Sector Project builds for ICG Markets CTI GFT GCG Low Latency Etrading line of businesses

Job Responsibilities
• This position involves collaboration with Solution Architect team application team Database team Project manager Portfolio manager and Production support System administrator
• Position requires skills to build RED HAT LinuxAIX servers working with Factory build team and customization later as per Application team Build sheet requirements related to file system structure rpm deployments and other System related tasks during project phase
• New hire will support endtoend project from Delivery design approval understanding Project artifacts to handover to Production System Administration support team during Go live phase
• As Project SA individuals will be working in parallel up to 15 projects consisting of up to 150200 servers depending upon complexity
• Typical Project phase is up to 9 months from inception
• This position in addition to support also needs many standardization disciplines during build
• Candidates with automation knowledge via Chef Perl and other programming languages preferably
• Positions do involve patching COB test and other infrastructure related tasks like lift and shift and storage migration to new devices
• Candidate needs to drive project with less monitoring in timely fashion with periodic updates to project stakeholders
• Typical day consists of design reviews of new projects completing build sheet related work on servers to handover to application or DB teams as per project artifacts Working on Go live readiness with production support SA team via matured process Daily meetings related to ongoing projects Change creationclosure and other documentational updates
• Weekend coverage and work expected for franchise critical projects
• Provide technicalstrategic direction and act as advisorcoach to junior analysts
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made demonstrate consideration for the firms reputation and safeguarding the clients and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws rules and regulations adhering to Policy applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior conduct and business practices and escalating managing and reporting control issues with transparency
• Troubleshooting and problem solving of servers
• Reduction of faults Root Cause Analysis
• Identify reoccurring issues and develop automation to reduce human touch

Skills
• Red Hat 8 VERITAS Cluster experience and VVR must along with hands on knowledge for AIX and Solaris Oracle Ability to support large server environment and production support experience
• Develop Ansible playbooks and modules Administer Ansible infrastructure
• Must have Linux engineering level knowledge to standardize builds through automation based on security policy and standards
• Familiarity in creating and organizing new projects in AtlassianJira platform

Qualifications
• 8-10 years of experience in Infrastructure Technologies delivery with a proven track record of operational process change and improvement
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to nontechnical audience
• Ability to work with virtual and inperson teams and work under pressure or to a deadline
• Experience in a Financial Services or large complex andor global environment preferred
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
