The ideal candidate will havea solidcredit agreement and underwriting skills, and the ability toidentifykey credit risks.This position is client-facing, requiring the individual toassistin diligence callsin support of deal teamsand support the negotiation of credit agreements.Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies andprocedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers andcolleagues andensures that actions and behaviorsdrive a positive customer experience. Whileoperatingwithin the Bank27s risk appetite,achievesresults by consistentlyidentifying, assessing,managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform detailed due diligence on companies, industries, management teams, and other relevant information.
Prepare succinct underwriting memorandums, including company and industry descriptions, key credit risks, historicalanalysis, base and downside case projection assumptions/rationale and terms and conditions.
Establish strong working partnerships and routines with key internal partners includingother Underwriters,Debt Capital Markets,andCredit Risk,
