Description:
The facility has 874 licensed beds and serves as a Level I Trauma and Level I Pediatric Trauma center.
It is a teaching hospital with a Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center.
The department averages 70-80 patients per day, with care provided to adults and pediatrics from the emergency department, ICUs, nursing units, and outpatient settings.
The department features a diverse team with various years of experience, including both new graduates and long-tenure teammates.
Equipment includes the Siemens Sequoia and a full range of transducers.
All departments have a lead technologist, modality supervisor, and Imaging Manager.
Travelers will work the same shift and times as agreed upon in their contract.
Call requirements and holiday coverage will be fairly rotated among all team members.
The department promotes good teamwork and high clinical skill sets, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
