Responsibilities
Ultrasound Technologist demonstrates competency in performing all ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. Has successfully received certification in at least one or more specialty examinations. Positions patient and equipment and produces appropriate documentation for the Radiologist. The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Effective July 1, 2017, ARDMS certified required.
2. Previous experience preferred.
3. Computer literate.
4. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate.
5. Graduated of an accredited program required.
6. Successfully obtained certification in at least one or more specialty exam deemed by the ARDMS guidelines.
