Job Title: UI/UX Designer
Location: [Phoenix, AZ / On-site]

Position Summary

The UI/UX Designer partners closely with the Product Management team to design intuitive, scalable, and user-centered digital products for the Invessio platform. This role plays a critical part throughout the product lifecycle, from discovery and ideation to delivery and iteration, ensuring that user experience decisions are grounded in research, technical feasibility, and business goals. The ideal candidate is a product-minded designer who thrives in agile environments, understands development constraints, and can translate complex financial workflows into clear, usable experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Product Discovery & UX Strategy
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to define user problems, product requirements, and success metrics.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and journey mapping to inform product decisions.
  • Translate insights into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and validated design solutions.
  • Contribute to roadmap discussions by advocating user needs and experience improvements.

Interaction & Interface Design
  • Design intuitive, accessible, and consistent interfaces for web-based products and internal tools.
  • Familiarity with data sets and data visualization; knowledge of modern charting frameworks (Echarts, Chart.js, D3, Highcharts, AG Grid)
  • Create low- and high-fidelity designs that balance usability, scalability, and technical feasibility.
  • Incorporate Invessio's design system in partnership with engineering.
  • Ensure consistency across components, patterns, and interactions to support rapid development.

Engineering Collaboration & Delivery
  • Work closely with frontend and back-end engineers throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Provide clear design specifications, assets, and interaction guidance to support implementation.
  • Participate in sprint planning, stand ups, and retrospectives as part of agile product teams.
  • Review implemented designs and collaborate on refinements to ensure quality and usability.

Accessibility, Performance & Compliance
  • Apply accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
  • Design experiences that support clarity, transparency, and user trust in a regulated financial environment.
  • Balance UX best practices with security, performance, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in UX/UI Design, Human Computer Interaction, Product Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience designing digital products in a product driven environment.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating product thinking, UX process, and shipped work.
  • Proficiency in Figma and modern design collaboration tools.
  • Experience with SaaS applications
  • Must have Product Design experience
  • Experience working in agile or scrum-based development teams.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design, usability principles, and accessibility.
