Full Job Description
GENERAL SUMMARY: The Regional Director of East Coast will serve as a regional liaison to the Vice Presidents of Sales, Fitness and EVP of Operations, and oversee sales, fitness and operations execution through standardizing processes, training and accountability across all East Coast Managed Clubs. Will create alignment from the field to the Corporate team by working with department heads to ensure information is presented effectively to the field. Ensure a positive employee and customer experience through weekly calls, communication, and leadership training and development. Will work closely with cross functional leaders and General Managers and be actively involved with leading and driving sales, fitness, and operational excellence.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales

  • Support sales execution by coaching General Managers, driving accountability, and ensuring achievement of membership and revenue goals.
  • Lead sales training, performance reviews, and accountability meetings while aligning promotions, pricing, and sales strategies across clubs.
  • Partner with leadership on succession planning, talent development, and personnel matters.

Fitness

  • Support fitness operations through training, leadership development, programming, and performance oversight.
  • Manage fitness sales, private coaching metrics, hiring, instructor compliance, and accountability reporting.
  • Partner with executive leadership on succession planning and personnel decisions.

Operations

  • Oversee club operations, budgets, payroll, and facility standards to ensure efficient, high-quality operations and an excellent member experience.
  • Lead operational teams, support new club openings, implement best practices, and manage inventory, quality control, and cost efficiency.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain talent while partnering with leadership on succession planning and personnel matters.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1) Knowledge, skills & abilities:
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of UFC GYM
• Ability to train and educate new and existing managers on a variety of strategies
• Excellent and proven ability to communicate effectively with a wide array of people
• Proven ability to self-manage, quickly assess situations, offer guidance and persuade through coaching.
• Strong relationship focus and positive collaborative attitude.
• Ability to mentor and train development associates and collaborate with internal leaders.
• A self-starter who needs little direction; is highly self-motivated.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong track record of implementing and executing tactics to achieve key strategic initiatives.
• Results oriented and achievement motivated.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Possess a working knowledge of the DotFIT, ABC, Datatrak, and fitness equipment and programs.
• Background in fitness industry and affinity for health and wellness preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% to domestic/local clubs, trainings and meetings.

2) Minimum certifications/educational level:
• College Degree preferred

3) Minimum experience:
• 5+ years of experience in increasingly senior leadership roles within a fitness club
• Prefer multi-club operator experience

4) Physical Requirements:
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand for up to 8 hours. The employee occasionally sits, walks, kneels, and reaches with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 45 lbs.
• The noise level in the environment is occasionally loud
• Must be willing to relocate or reside on the East Coast
