Full Job Description
As a U.S. Trade Compliance Specialist, you willsupport our export and import compliance activities. This role partners closely with Compliance, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure adherence to U.S. trade regulations, including ITAR, EAR, OFAC, and U.S. Customs requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Director, Compliance & Contracts and cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and execute export and import compliance initiatives.
  • Research U.S. export and import control regulations and provide practical compliance guidance to internal stakeholders.
  • Review, update, and maintain company policies and procedures related to export controls.
  • Assist with preparation and submission of export license applications.
  • Support internal audits, compliance reviews, and corrective action plans.
  • Maintain accurate records related to export and import activities, including denied party screening documentation.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to determineECCN and USML classifications for commodities and technical data.
  • Assist with classification of goods under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and Schedule B.
  • Support import operations by managing documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in International Business, International Affairs, or a related field.
  • Experience in export or import administration, including:
    • Export licensing
    • Regulatory policy development
    • Classification under USML or CCL
  • Strong analytical and research skills related to ITAR, EAR, and OFAC regulations.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in international trade compliance.
  • Experience in semiconductor, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with export control systems such as ACES, SNAP-R, or DECCS.
