Job Description

Role Description

We are seeking a Manager to join our U.S. Healthcare Services practice. This individual will play a key role in leading client engagements, developing teams, and helping grow a high-demand practice area. The ideal candidate brings healthcare services strategy consulting experience, strong client presence, and the ability to manage complex growth strategy, commercial strategy, diligence, and transaction support work.

Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple project teams and client relationships expertly and efficiently to execute consulting engagements
  • Work directly with clients and Managing Directors to set project objectives, develop analytical frameworks, manage team responsibilities, and maintain the timeline
  • Structure complex growth, commercial, and transaction-related problems into clear workstreams and provide thought leadership to guide project execution
  • Develop insights and recommendations based on case team research, analysis, and client context
  • Support business development through proposal development, market perspectives, and client relationship-building
  • Coach, evaluate, and develop team members across analytical, project management, and client-facing skills
  • Contribute to broader practice-building efforts, including recruiting, professional development, thought leadership, and internal initiatives

Qualifications & Experience
  • An advanced degree from a top-ranked school is preferred (MBA, MHA, MPH, PhD, or similar)
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in strategy consulting, with demonstrated project and team management experience
  • Experience serving healthcare services clients and investors, ideally across provider, payer, or HCIT contexts, with exposure to growth strategy, commercial strategy, diligence, transaction support, or related strategic advisory work
  • Ability to lead workstreams, manage client-facing efforts, structure analysis, and communicate recommendations clearly
  • Superior analytical skills combined with demonstrated expertise in consulting approaches
  • Proven ability to coach and develop teams across analytical, project management, client relationship, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong client presence and ability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence others
  • Bright, conceptual, and a quick learner; able to quickly assess a situation and generate new insights and actionable ideas

Additional Information
  • The base salary at the Manager level starts at $241,500 annually. L.E.K. also offers a performance bonus and profit sharing

  • This role follows our hybrid work model for U.S. offices.We require employees to be in their assigned home office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week, as well as the first Friday of each month
  • International candidates will be considered. L.E.K. Consulting will assist you as necessary in accordance with our policy of obtaining employment authorization, however; we cannot guarantee that work authorization will be granted
