Full Job Description
The Atlanta office of Chamberlain Hrdlicka is seeking an associate with 1-3 years of trust & estates/tax planning experience to join the Trusts & Estates Practice Group in our Atlanta office. Chamberlain's Trusts & Estates attorneys provide sophisticated estate, tax, and business succession planning advice to high and ultra-high net worth individuals and businesses.

The preferred candidate will have experience drafting wills and complex estate planning documents (including GRATs, intentionally defective grantor trusts, charitable trusts, and similar documents), counseling clients on estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning (including installment sales to grantor trusts with formula valuation), and drafting business succession planning documents. Prior experience with estate and gift tax return preparation and review is a plus, as well as familiarity with income taxation of individuals, trusts, estates, corporations, and partnerships.

Successful candidates must have strong writing and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects independently and as part of a team. Applicants must hold a JD from an ABA-accredited law school and be an active member in good standing of the Georgia Bar or able to sit for the Georgia Bar exam. Relocation candidates will be considered.
