In this role, you will:
- Administer a book of complex fiduciary relationships within a team-based environment, including analyzing trust and estate documents, implementing client estate plans, and ensuring client accounts are managed in accordance with sound fiduciary principles and applicable laws
- Engage clients, advisors, and internal partners to deliver a high-touch client experience within a strong risk management framework
- Independently resolve complex issues while leveraging solid knowledge of internal policies and procedures including, but not limited to, distributions, account maintenance, account opening and closing, Know Your Client (KYC) requirements, annual account reviews, and management of overdrafts
- Proactively identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and control development
- Lead fiduciary administration for complex accounts, and advise on the interpretation of nuanced legal instruments and ensure adherence to fiduciary standards across the team
- Actively train and serve as peer mentor to lower-level staff
- Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Participate in appropriate marketing and business development initiatives in partnership with team leaders
- Identify opportunities to strengthen processes, controls, and the overall client experience
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Fiduciary Products experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience and education
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of trust, estate, and fiduciary administration, including experience administering complex fiduciary relationships.
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply trust agreements, estate documents, and other legal instruments while ensuring compliance with fiduciary standards and bank requirements.
- Demonstrated risk management, compliance, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience effectively communicating and building relationships with high-net-worth clients, beneficiaries, co-trustees, advisors, and internal partners.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment when addressing complex fiduciary matters and resolving client or account issues.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field, such as law, trust, wealth management, finance, or a related discipline; JD/LLM or Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation is preferred.
- Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and interact effectively with all levels of an organization.
