Full Job Description
SUMMARY: A Treasury Solutions Consultant independently manages a portfolio of clients with complex treasury solution needs. A Treasury Solutions Consultant is also responsible for growing the portfolio via new client acquisition and cross-selling opportunities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.
  • Mines internal data to generate sales opportunities requiring in-depth knowledge of banking and treasury products and services.
  • Develops detailed account plans for clients/prospects within assigned client group to identify key retention, cross-selling and new client acquisition opportunities.
  • Assesses client needs, identifying and evaluating solutions based on cost/benefit analyses.
  • Pursues client prospect opportunities outside of the portfolio.
  • Demonstrates industry leadership through involvement in relevant trade associations and/or public speaking opportunities.
  • Coordinates and directs treasury solutions for clients to include development of new treasury business, expansion of existing business relationships and maintaining current client relationships.
  • Utilizes extensive working capital management product knowledge and the ability to assess client needs to identify potential domestic and global solutions for clients. Demonstrates strong presentation (written and oral) advisory skills.
  • Leads risk assessment associated with potential solutions.
  • Ensures that other client team members are informed of client needs and of the solutions to meet those needs.
  • Leads pricing and negotiation of treasury products to optimize relationship profitability.
  • Communicates client needs to other key partners, including product and support partners as appropriate.
  • Works within a client team environment, coordinating and directing strategy and client contact activities for the team in regards to Treasury Solutions.
  • Partners closely with client-facing teammates to consult on sales opportunities and provide the product expertise and consultation necessary to deliver the best possible solution to the client.
  • Maintains daily client contact through both independent and joint calling activities.
  • Functions as a strategic advisor leading with working capital solutions, driving payment transformation, and delivering our capabilities.
  • Ensures client satisfaction by understanding the client's business and being their advocate at the Bank.
  • Influences others, inspiring them to follow his/her lead. Seeks perspectives of others with differing points of view when formulating and selling ideas. Communicates a compelling sense of purpose and direction.
  • Functions as a role model and mentors to more junior employees including Treasury Sales Analysts.
  • Builds partnerships and collaborates across teams to achieve sustainable results. Demonstrates and encourages collaboration and teamwork.
  • Adheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.).
  • Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and completes required training.
  • Identifies and reports suspicious activity.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience required.

EXPERIENCE
  • At least 5 - 7 years of demonstrated success in direct treasury sales to Business Banking, Middle Market, and Large Corporate Clients required.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP)-AFP preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Proven track record of excellent communication and presentation skills and strong organization and time management skills. Must also be able to demonstrate proven prospecting skills.
