A day in the life

The Treasury Operations Associate supports core treasury operations across the Americas, including the United States, Canada, and Mexico. This role helps maintain effective cash management through daily cash positioning, payment execution, liquidity monitoring, bank account administration, treasury reporting, and treasury systems support. The Associate partners with Treasury colleagues, banking partners, internal stakeholders, and technology teams to resolve operational issues and support treasury projects and initiatives. The role also contributes to process improvement and the use of treasury technology, automation, and AI-enabled solutions to improve treasury operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Execute daily treasury operations across the Americas, including cash positioning, cash forecasting, liquidity monitoring, payment processing, bank account administration, and treasury reporting.
  • Coordinate the administration and lifecycle management of letters of credit and related bank security instruments with internal stakeholders and banking partners.
  • Research and resolve treasury operational issues related to payments, banking activity, reporting, and cash management processes.
  • Leverage automation, AI, and treasury technology to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of treasury operations and issue resolution.
  • Partner with Treasury colleagues, banking partners, internal stakeholders, and technology teams to support operational priorities, projects, and initiatives.
  • Monitor treasury industry trends, banking products, and emerging technologies through ongoing professional development and industry engagement.

Preferred:

  • 2–4 years of experience in treasury, cash management, banking operations, finance, accounting, or a related area.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Bilingual capability in English and Spanish.
  • Experience using treasury management systems, banking platforms, ERP systems, or financial reporting tools.
  • Experience using AI chatbots, automation tools, or data and collaboration tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Sigma, SharePoint, or Smartsheet.
  • Demonstrates willingness and capability to leverage emerging technology, automation, and AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and speed. Exercises sound judgment, creative thinking, and accountability for outcomes.

Hiring Salary Range of: $94,000 - $129,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target) to be determined by the candidate’s location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
