Full Job Description
The Treasury Manager is responsible for managing the company's global banking relationships and cash position in order to meet the financial obligations of the organization. They lead a team that performs a wide range of cash and banking duties to ensure timely and accurate billing, payment processing, and cash management. This role will be critical in maintaining and enhancing the company's cash flow forecasting and debt facility management.

  • Manage the company's US and Canada cash and liquidity needs based on business operations, with some involvement of global positions
  • Lead, direct, and develop cash management staff.
  • Review cash and bank related journal entries posted by the treasury team.
  • Support timely franchisee payment processing of Accounts Receivable and Notes Receivable including timely and appropriate approvals.
  • Prepare and monitor company's various cash flow forecasts.
  • Debt facilities management, including borrowing, payments, and weekly compliance reporting.
  • Evaluate, develop and implement automation and process improvements around treasury processes to optimize efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with banks and financial service providers.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation for regulatory requirements, such as FBAR.
  • Monitor foreign currency exposure and foreign currency payments.
  • Provide technical and other support for acquisitions, including treasury integration.

Experience
  • A minimum of 7 years' experience with treasury management functions, including preparing cash forecasts and analysis, maintaining banking relationships including working within banking portals, and managing debt facilities is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in leading, coaching, and developing teams is required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations is preferred.
  • Experience with foreign currency is preferred.


Skills:
  • Understanding and experience managing treasury functions and leading a team.
  • Advanced analytical and technical skills.
  • Able to prepare and analyze cash forecasts, and concisely articulate recommendations.
  • Knowledge of banking relationships and debt covenants.
  • Appropriate accounting knowledge to understand the impact of journal entries and bank reconciliations on the overall financials.


Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance required, MBA preferred.
