Position Summary:
The Treasury Manager is responsible for overseeing the company’s daily cash-management activities and special cash-management projects, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet operational and financial obligations while optimizing available cash.
This role manages daily cash positioning, cash-flow forecasting, banking activities, payments, debt management, short-term investments and borrowing, bank relationships, and other cash-management analysis. The Treasury Manager will collaborate with Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, FP&A, Tax, and business leaders to improve cash visibility, maintain accurate financial records, and support liquidity decisions. to optimize liquidity and support the financial health of the business. The Treasury Manager will report to the Vice President – Treasury.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage daily cash positioning across the firm’s bank accounts and legal entities
- Monitor cash balances, inflows, outflows, and upcoming funding requirements
- Ensure sufficient liquidity is available to meet payroll, vendor payments, tax payments, debt obligations, and other operational requirements
- Initiate or coordinate intercompany and interbank transfers to efficiently concentrate and deploy cash
- Optimize the use of excess cash, including short-term investments or debt repayment, in accordance with the firm’s policy
- Monitor available credit facilities and coordinate short-term borrowings when necessary
- Identify opportunities to reduce idle cash, avoid unnecessary borrowing, and improve working-capital efficiency
- Oversee daily banking activities, including cash administration, payments, collections, funding, and account management
- Review and approve wire transfers, ACH payments, and other non-routine transactions in accordance with delegated authority
- Manage bank accounts, authorized signers, account documentation, and online banking access
- Forecast and prepare debt covenant calculations
- Maintain up-to-date Treasury procedures documentation
Cash-Flow Forecasting and Reporting
- Prepare and maintain short- and medium-term cash-flow forecasts including daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly liquidity projections
- Partner with FP&A, Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Payroll to collect and validate forecast inputs
- Analyze actual cash flows against forecasts and explain material variances
- Identify potential liquidity surpluses or shortfalls and recommend appropriate actions
Special Projects
- Prepare financial analysis of special projects impacting cash as requested
- Participate in and lead multi-disciplinary teams
- Prepare and present findings and recommendations to senior management
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, treasury, cash management, or a related finance function.
- At least 3 years in a leadership role with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
- Certification/Licensure:

- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or progress toward a relevant professional certification preferred
- Knowledge and Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of corporate finance principles, treasury management, cash flow forecasting, banking, and debt financing
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial analysis, reconciliations, forecasting, and large-data-set management
- Experience with investment management, risk management, and financial analysis
- Familiarity with internal controls and compliance requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage external banking relationships and internal management team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of corporate finance principles
- Experience in multi-location business
- Ability to motivate, develop, and mentor staff to optimize their performance

- Demonstrated experience with daily cash positioning, liquidity management, cash-flow forecasting, payment operations, and bank-account administration
- Strong understanding of cash inflows and outflows, working capital, banking products, short-term investments, and credit facilities
- Experience using treasury systems and accounting systems, online banking platforms, and financial-reporting tools
- Familiarity with bank connectivity and payment formats, including APIs, SFTP, SWIFT, ACH, wires, and ISO 20022
- Experience supporting the financial close and external audit processes for a publicly traded or similarly complex organization
- Experience with debt credit agreements, covenant evaluation and calculation
Language Skills:
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
Physical Demands:
- Ability to fulfill office activities including but not limited to remain stationary for extended periods of time (i.e., while working at a desk), stoop/kneel/crouch, travel around the office, communicate with others (verbal and written), and use fine motor skills including fine hand manipulation and keyboarding.

Maximum Salary/WageUSD $125,100.00/Yr.
