Full Job Description
As the Traveling Executive Director of Operations, you will manage an assigned assisted living community's budget and occupancy goals as well as maintain appropriate staffing levels and drive overall customer service for a short period of time (average 60 to 120 days) while permanent leadership is identified and put in place. Assignments will be based on the community's needs and can be anywhere where we operate a community. If you are driven, like to travel, appreciate new assignments every few months, and have the necessary knowledge and experience to build, stabilize, and manage a loyal team, this role at Benchmark Senior Living may be the right fit for you to make a difference!

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing bills and statements
  • Analyzing revenue projections
  • Making adjustments when revenue sources decrease
  • Managing the Sales Director
  • Networking with outside referral sources such as Hospital and Rehab personnel
  • Qualifying prospects financially through credit reports, bank statements, etc.
  • Reviewing occupancy as it relates to staffing
  • Assisting in the hiring and recruitment processes
  • Handling all resident and family grievances


Education/Experience/Licensure:

  • Bachelor's degree; Degree in Healthcare Administration, Hospitality Management, or Business preferred
  • 5+ years of operations management in senior care preferred
  • Having assumed a managerial role that was responsible for multiple disciplines
  • Possessing budgeting and staffing experience
  • Proficiency with Windows applications such as Excel and Outlook
