Qualifications

• Active BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Current nursing license in the state of practice
• PALS certification recommended
• NIHSS certification recommended
• CCRN credentials preferred for certain travel positions
• Critical Care experience in a hospital setting
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience

Responsibilities

• Provide high-intensity nursing care to critically ill patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions continuously
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care
• Educate patients and families on health issues and recovery plans
• Document all patient care activities accurately
• Participate in departmental meetings and training
