Qualifications

• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current nursing license in the state of practice
• Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) credential preferred
• Other relevant specialty certifications may be required
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience as an RN in oncology

Responsibilities

• Administer specialized patient care to hematology/oncology/BMT patients
• Monitor patient vital signs and overall health status
• Apply infection control protocols for immunosuppressed patients
• Administer chemotherapy and medications as prescribed
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and care needs
