Qualifications

• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• State-issued active professional nursing license
• Recommended: Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) credential
• Preferred: Other specialty-related certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered nurse
• Demonstrated experience in oncology nursing within a hospital setting

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to cancer patients and their families
• Administer chemotherapy and other medications as prescribed
• Monitor patient status and report changes to the healthcare team
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and side effects
