Travel Interventional Radiology Tech Location: Manassas, VA Schedule: 4 x10's Mon-Fri (rotating day off) and every 3rd to 4th weekend on call (paid at time and half) Pay: Weekly pay package: $2700-3100 (DOE) Weekly Gross Pay (travel package) Duration: 13 weeks

In this role, you'll be more than just an operator; you'll be a patient advocate, a technical expert, and a vital collaborator in a high-stakes environment.
Safety & Comfort: Prioritize patient dignity and safety throughout their stay in the radiology department. You'll see between 8-15 patients daily
Clear Communication: Explain procedures and post-care instructions to alleviate anxiety and ensure patient cooperation.
Workflow Management: Triaging tasks based on patient acuity to maintain efficient throughput and timely care.
Continuous Improvement: Utilize patient satisfaction data and performance metrics to contribute to departmental process enhancements.
Safety, Sanitation & Organization
Strict Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA regulations and universal precautions.
Environment Care: Sanitize exam areas between patients and manage clean linen supplies (gowns, sheets, towels).
Hazard Response: Promptly address spills or safety hazards and ensure all equipment is stored securely when not in use.
Technical Mastery
Equipment Operation: Safely operate imaging equipment according to established standards and protocols.
Sterile Technique: Maintain a meticulous sterile field and ensure proper equipment setup.
Image Quality: Adjust parameters for optimal diagnostic results and evaluate the need for repeat imaging when necessary.
Quality Control: Perform routine equipment checks, including warm-up and QC procedures.
Collaborative Partnership
Team Integration: Work seamlessly with radiologists, nurses, and staff to meet departmental goals.
Proactive Communication: Engage professionally in team meetings and contribute to various departmental initiatives.
Schedule & Flexibility
Shift: 4x10 hour shifts Mon-Fri
Rotation: Rotating day off during the week
Planning: weekend on-call rotation every 3rd-4th week
Requirements & Qualifications
Credentials: ARRT (R)
Virginia State License
IV Credential Preferred
