How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Directs daily activities, work-flow, and nursing resources across specialized units, ensuring high standards of patient care and peak satisfaction among associates, patients, and physicians.
  • Develops and maintains quality monitoring systems, policies, and procedural frameworks to guarantee seamless service delivery while maintaining full compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Manages unit budgets, overseeing expenditures, purchases, and resource allocation to consistently adhere to financial guidelines and operational benchmarks.
  • Leads talent management including hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and team development while proactively identifying and resolving operational issues to optimize patient care delivery.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • One or more of the following:
    • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted. Required if working in adult critical care setting.


Education:

  • Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
