Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of trauma program, emergency, or critical care nursing experience required.
• 2+ years of leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with trauma registry and coding preferred.
• Required certifications: RN and BLS; TNCC and CATN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify educational needs of nursing staff and provide tailored education.
• Support outreach education with the Trauma Outreach Manager and pre-hospital services.
• Collaborate on community outreach initiatives for injury prevention.
• Oversee daily operations of the trauma program to ensure optimal patient care.
• Manage trauma patient and family care processes alongside nursing departments.
• Supervise trauma performance improvement and patient safety activities.
• Prepare materials for monthly trauma performance improvement committee meetings.
