Collaborate with other medical staff to improve patient outcomes
Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives
Provide 24-hour on-call trauma coverage from home

Trauma Medical Director Needed for Developing Level III Program
Trauma Program:
163-bed Acute Care hospital
Level III ACS designation in pursuit (with intent to go Level II)
Trauma service covers most acute care surgery
Annual ED Volume 19k
Approx 400 trauma admits annually
24 hour call from home
Trauma Surgeon Criteria:
Board Certified General Surgery with Surgical Critical Care Fellowship Required
Experience with ACS guidelines & strong leadership skills
