Food Authority Transportation Supervisor Hours: 7 PM - 5AM
Days: Schedule 5 days a week may include weekends.
Salary $120k-$130K DOE
What You'll Do As a key leader in our transportation team, you'll keep our operations moving smoothly and efficiently:
- Design smart, efficient delivery routes that save time and maximize productivity
- Assign drivers and vehicles strategically based on schedules, locations, and capacity
- Dispatch drivers and track progress to ensure on-time, reliable deliveries
- Analyze fuel usage, mileage, and performance metrics to boost efficiency
- Supervise drivers and helpers with clear guidance and support
- Train drivers on safety, navigation, and customer service excellence
- Evaluate performance and help team members grow and succeed
What You Bring - Strong leadership and communication skills• you know how to motivate a team
- 2-5+ years of experience in transportation/distribution
- Experience with DOT regulations and compliance
- Previous experience managing drivers preferred
- Sharp problem-solving skills and the ability to juggle priorities
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays when needed
