Position Details:
  • 90k plus based on experience

  • Monday to Friday, No Weekends!
Position Purpose:
The Transportation Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of product shipments from production to the end-user. Here are some of their key responsibilities: planning and supervising shipments, scheduling routes, tracking orders, coordinating, monitoring transportation costs, ensuring compliance, maintaining records. Transportation Managers play a crucial role in the supply chain, ensuring that goods are delivered on time and in good condition.

Major Functional Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that shipments are handled efficiently, safely, and within budget.
  • Organizing daily and weekly routes for transportation vehicles.
  • Use systems like barcodes and tracking software to monitor shipments.
  • Ensure proper storage and distribution of products.
  • Keeping track of expenses to stay within budget.
  • Make sure all shipments comply with legal regulations.
  • Keep detailed records of all transportation activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards


Required Qualifications

Required Education:
• Bachelor's Degree - Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation

Work Experience:
• 5 - 7 Years Related experience
• 6 Months - 1 Year Supervisory or management experience

Required Qualifications:
• Several years of experience in transportation, logistics, or a related field.
• Ability to coordinate complex logistics and plan routes effectively.
• Proficiency in transportation management software and tracking systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication for coordinating with various stakeholders.
• Ability to quickly address and resolve transportation issues.
• Understanding of legal regulations and safety requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

Licenses and Certifications :
• Certified in Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution (CLTD)-APICS
• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
