As LogisticsManager, you will take full ownership of FTC and FTW spend, capacity planning, and carrier performance. In this high-visibility role, you will optimize our carrier partnerships and collaborate across Planning, Distribution, Customer Supply, and Commercial teams to deliver cost-effective, resilient logistics solutions that keep our supply chain moving.

What are we looking for?

Minimum:
  • Bachelor's Degree Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline AND/OR
  • 5+ years of experience in transportation management, logistics, or carrier management.
  • Demonstrated track record managing carrier performance, tender acceptance, routing guide compliance, and accessorial spend.
  • Hands-on experience leading Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and negotiating carrier corrective action plans.
  • Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) (e.g., Uber Freight, Blue Yonder/JDA, SAP TM, Oracle OTM, MercuryGate).
  • Working knowledge of DOT/transportation safety regulations and carrier compliance standards.
  • Experience with transportation capacity planning, RFP execution, and spot/contract sourcing strategies.
  • Intermediate analytical skills using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools to track operational KPIs.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Planning, Commercial/Sales, Plant Operations, and Customer Supply.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate, influence, negotiate, motivate and lead a team.
  • Effectively communicate and influence at all levels of the organization including the reporting and presentation of data
  • Ability to transfer procedures and training experiences to others


Preferred:
  • Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business.
  • 7+ years of experience in transportation and logistics, ideally within the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG), Food & Beverage, or temperature-controlled/multi-temperature freight manufacturing sectors.
  • Familiarity with complex end-to-end freight networks (both inbound raw materials/packaging and outbound finished goods).
  • 1-3 years of direct people management experience (e.g., managing Carrier Managers, Logistics Coordinators, or Analysts).
  • Experience implementing Continuous Improvement (CI) frameworks (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) to drive payload optimization, network redesign, or freight cost reduction.


What will be your key responsibilities?
  • Direct daily and weekly transportation operations, maximizing tender acceptance, routing guide compliance, and on-time service delivery.
  • Facilitate periodic and quarterly business reviews with carrier partners, establishing scorecards, safety compliance, and continuous service improvements.
  • Forecast and secure freight capacity across all regions for both inbound (raws/packs) and outbound finished goods.
  • Partner on transportation RFPs, dynamic routing guide maintenance, and optimal carrier allocation to protect network capacity.
  • Govern transportation budgets by actively managing accessorial costs, baseline freight spend, and invoice variances.
  • Proactively resolve service disruptions to eliminate customer OTIF chargebacks, late fees, and retailer penalties.
  • Implement payload optimization and mode-selection strategies to maximize trailer utilization and reduce per-unit freight costs.
  • Oversee TMS platforms (e.g., Uber Freight) and performance dashboards to drive real-time visibility and data-backed decisions.
  • Guide carrier management personnel while partnering with Supply Planning, Distribution, and Commercial teams on network changes.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
