Develop complete PS&E packages for multimodal and complete streets projects, including plan/profile sheets, details, signing & striping, ADA ramps, utilities, and MOT/traffic control plans
Perform hands-on design using AutoCAD Civil 3D (corridors, alignments, surfaces, pipe networks, grading)
Deliver model-based designs, manage sheet sets, and support QA/QC and agency reviews
Prepare engineer's cost estimates (OPCC & PS&E-level) and project specifications
Apply AASHTO, NACTO, DOT, and municipal standards-adapting quickly to new agency criteria

Projects You'll Work On
Multimodal corridors and complete streets featuring:
Protected bike lanes, buffered lanes, and shared-use paths
Sidewalks, curb extensions, crosswalks, and ADA improvements
Streetscape elements such as medians, trees, furnishings, and lighting coordination
Context-sensitive designs balancing vehicles, transit, bikes, and pedestrians in constrained ROW
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Transportation, or Structural Engineering or related discipline. Professional engineering (PE) license. 7 years of related experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands. Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Experience delivering complete PS&E / construction drawing packages.
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (corridors, surfaces, alignments, pipe networks, grading) with efficient model-based plan production.
Experience developing engineer's cost estimates (OPCC and PS&E-level) and technical specifications.
Familiarity with state DOT and municipal design standards, and navigating agency review and QA/QC cycles.
Experience delivering complete streets and multimodal corridor projects, including bike, pedestrian, and streetscape elements.
Ability to balance vehicular, transit, bicycle, and pedestrian needs within constrained rights-of-way.
Knowledge of traffic calming, curb management, and multimodal safety strategies.
Experience coordinating with planning, landscape architecture, and urban design teams.
Ability to translate planning-level concepts into buildable construction documents.
