Job DescriptionHill International is seeking a Transportation Director in Orlando, FloridaResponsibilities- Provide overall leadership and management of office and field teams.
- Oversee staffing levels, team performance, and workforce development initiatives.
- Manage the CFX Construction Management Consultant Contract, including financial performance and reporting.
- Administer and coordinate subcontractor agreements, staffing, and service delivery.
- Develop executive-level dashboards and reports tracking construction progress, performance metrics, and project status.
- Coordinate activities among more than 20 consultants, including CEI firms, materials testing providers, and specialty consultants.
- Collaborate with CFX's General Engineering Consultant on plan reviews and constructability assessments.
- Provide analysis and recommendations regarding construction, contract administration, and program delivery issues.
- Implement process improvements and operational efficiencies to enhance program performance.
- Support business development efforts and client relationship management throughout Florida.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration in the State of Florida.
- Minimum of 10 years of transportation engineering and program management experience in Florida.
- Experience managing roadway and bridge programs.
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing consultant and subcontractor relationships.
- Strong contract management, financial oversight, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively with public agencies, consultants, and professional service firms.
- Must be based in or willing to work onsite in the Orlando, Florida area.
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive experience with Florida transportation agencies and infrastructure programs.
- Strong leadership and business development experience.
- Familiarity with large-scale transportation capital improvement programs.
