About the OpportunityWe are looking for a Transportation Civil Engineer IV to join us in support of our DOT/Tribal Design team. This role will focus on general roadway design and stormwater infrastructure projects for a variety of public-sector and tribal clients within Western Washington. This role will be a mix of project delivery, client engagement, project management, mentorship and development of staff.
This position can join our Puyallup, Seattle, or Silverdale office and work an office/hybrid schedule, coming into the office for team and client collaboration and integration.
Your Role on the Team:- Lead and/or support the design and delivery of transportation projects, with a focus on roadway, grading, stormwater and drainage.
- Lead and/or support the preparation of complete PS&E packages.
- Collaborate with internal and external clients through the project lifecycle to incorporate feedback and resolve design challenges.
- Perform QA/QC for engineering deliverables.
What You Bring to the Team:- BSCE in Civil Engineering or a related field and 7+ years of experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Previous experience as a Project Manager for transportation projects
- Experience working on projects for one of the following (WSDOT, Tribes, Local Agencies such as Cities and Counties)
- Experience supervising engineering staff
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, MicroStation/OpenRoads, or stormwater modeling software.
- Familiarity with local and state design manuals.

Salary Range
$110,000-$120,000 USD
Compensation is determined by factors such as education, experience, location, and role. As employee-owners, we are eligible for performance-based bonuses and our salaries are reviewed annually. We value transparency and look forward to discussing our compensation structure.
