Pay & Schedule

Pay: $35.00 – $42.00/hour (based on experience)Pay Frequency: Weekly pay – every ThursdayShift: Monday -Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm or 8:00am - 4:00pm

Job Duties & Responsibilities• Travel to customer sites, yards, and field locations to inspect, diagnose, and repair transport equipment• Inspect equipment for safety, mechanical condition, and required repairs, and communicate findings clearly to dispatch, service advisors, or customers.• Use diagnostic tools, scan tools, and service manuals to troubleshoot faults and determine proper repair procedures.• Complete service calls efficiently and maintain accurate records of labour, parts used, diagnostics, and repair details in work orders or mobile systems.• Work independently in the field while maintaining communication with dispatch and supervisors regarding job status, parts needs, and estimated completion times.• Accurately entering and updating information in the maintenance software through the use of state-of-the-art web-based tablet system• Communicating effectively with co-workers, customers and service managers• Other duties as required

Qualifications• 3-5 years’ experience in transport trailer repairs• Journeyman license for Trailer Transport Mechanic• Valid Driver’s License in good standing• Own tools and storage device• Good written and communication skills
