Full Job Description
In conjunction with the transplant team, assumes responsibility for coordinating the delivery of care for the transplant patient. Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of nursing theory and practice involved in providing nursing care. Familiarity with organization and function of departments, policies, procedures and regulations. Orchestrates the care of patients with end stage organ disease. CCTC - Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator required within 2 years of hire as a Transplant Nurse Coordinator. Education Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing program. Required Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing program. Preferred Experience 3 years experience in nursing. Required General Experience and knowledge of Electronic Medical Record. Required General Experience in a Transplant program. Preferred General Experience in critical care Preferred Licenses PA Registered Nurse License Required Cert Clinical Transplant Coord Required Multi State Compact RN License Required Or
