Job Summary

The Project Coordinator will be responsible to coordinate project team activities supporting the Project Managers (PM) including overseeing the financial reporting for multiple projects, responsible to monitor project budgets, and creating work orders to assure accurate depiction of project cost.

Job Description

What You'll Do:

The coordinator is accountable for supporting all project risk identification and reporting activities:
  • Coordinate project risk meetings with project managers, estimators and other project stakeholders
  • Facilitate the identification of project specific risks and assist in qualitative and quantitative risk analysis
  • Engage the project subject matter experts to clearly articulate risks, risk severity and response
  • Document risks and responses in a Risk Register throughout the project lifecycle
  • Generate project Risk Reports(s) to communicate to project stakeholders
  • Ensure risk-based contingencies are being calculated in accordance with guidelines and included in cost estimates
  • Support analysis of actual costs incurred when project risks materialize and communicate lessons learned through a risk feedback process
  • Understand key performance indicators (KPIs) that are measurable outcomes tied to project risk management
  • Provide strong teamwork with colleagues, customers and vendors, and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Support process improvement initiatives

Collaboration and communication is required with estimators and analysts in the Estimating Department as well as colleagues in other departments, such as: Project Management; Engineering; Construction Management; Siting, Outreach and Right of Way; Project Controls; Transmission Field Services; Transmission Planning; Procurement; etc.

Project Coordinator (Grade 6)

Salary Range- $74,551- $93,188

Associate Degree in Accounting, Business, Construction Management from an accredited college, or related field with 4+ years of experience or

Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Business, Construction Management from an accredited college, or related field 2+ years of experience.

Minimum requirement includes two to four years experience working on cost tracking analysis, forecasting, project budgets, and working with accounting principles.

Skills required - Proficient in use of computer and MS Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Excellent oral and written communication skills along with a professional demeanor and commitment to customer service and teamwork.

Project Coordinator Sr(Grade 7)

Salary Range-$87,633-- $106,353.

Associate's in Accounting, Business, Construction Management from an accredited college, or related field with 6+ years of experience; or

Bachelor's in Accounting, Business, Construction Management from an accredited college, or related field with 4+ years of experience.

Minimum requirement includes four years experience working on cost tracking analysis, forecasting, project budgets, and working with accounting principles.

Skills required - Proficient in use of computer and MS Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Excellent oral and written communication skills along with a professional demeanor and commitment to customer service and teamwork.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
  • Demonstrate ability to manage time effectively and efficiently, show capable of having organizational and planning skills, as well as having an aptitude for accuracy, attention to detail and ability to achieve goals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player with ability to work and collaborate well with others.Ability to multitask and be self-directed, meet critical deadlines.
  • Ability to analyze financial information. Immediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ability to develop complex spreadsheets.
  • Some travel, including overnight, may be required.
  • Help with training and leading new or less experience employees
