ABOUT THE ROLEThe primary focus of the Transmission Operations Manager is to oversee business operations by providing effective methods of day-to-day operations, maintain and develop client relationships, estimate work, and recruit/develop personnel for ongoing and future projects, and act as a point of contact for other managers within the company.
Essential Functions- Ensure organizational safety expectations are met by all employees
- Monitor the financial performance and production of projects
- Ensure contractual compliance for current and future projects
- Develop, strengthen, and maintain long lasting client relationships
- Pursue business growth opportunities
- Advise staff of company policy expectations
- Lead, direct, and audit the work of assigned staff; act as a mentor
- Coordinate employee performance reviews
- Facilitate and enforce company policies and procedures
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Other duties as assigned
ABOUT YOUQualifications- 5 years of experience in an Operations Manager (or similar) position within the electrical construction industry
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience (15+ years' in a leadership role within the construction or utilities industry)
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities- Strong commitment to safety and the ability to develop a solid safety culture with subordinates
- Excellent salesmanship and communication skills to include written and verbal
- Strong leadership and team building skills
- Troubleshooting skills with the ability to prioritize
