PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

We are seeing an Integrated Program Lead in transformer manufacturing is responsible for end-to-end program execution, aligning engineering, supply chain, production, quality, and commercial objectives to ensure successful delivery of power and distribution transformers. The role oversees manufacturing operations, production planning, resource optimization, cost control, risk management, and customer commitments while driving operational excellence across the value chain.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Develop and implement supply chain management plans and executable strategies in support of specific Program (s) assignments
  • Leading cross-functional teams from design through manufacturing and delivery.
  • Managing transformer production schedules, capacity planning, and workflow optimization.
  • Driving quality, safety, and compliance standards across manufacturing operations.
  • Coordinating suppliers and materials to ensure on-time production and delivery.
  • Monitoring KPIs related to productivity, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage all aspects of supplier performance including risk management / contingency planning and resolution of issues
  • Managing and supporting supply chain content for successful proposals including development of strategies, program plans, and basis of estimates
  • Liaise with the key functional areas of within customer and internal team as well as liaising with domestic and external suppliers to deliver Sub System key attributes (performance, cost, weight, life, etc) and ensuring parts/components are delivered on-time from the supply-chain.
  • Manage the risk process ensuring all identified risks are mitigated with supporting plans to an acceptable conclusion, and ensure all stakeholders are supported and aware of each task's performance, including risks, and hazards and opportunities.
  • Lead/support the project rhythm to achieve the project target plan via the change process including Product Change Board, Design Definition Review & Audit Meeting and Design / Technical Review gates.
  • Act as the focal point for the project team and provide the Assistant Work Package Owner, Sub-System and Project Managers with information necessary to control and manage the overall Project
  • Lead implementation programs, ensuring quality delivery and expected outcomes. This includes the gathering of business requirements, development of process flows, high level solution design, training and change management.
  • Monitor programs and projects outcome and retrofit into road-mapping and stakeholders' priorities

Work Experience

COMPETENCIES & SKILLS
  • Knowledge of transformer manufacturing processes, including core assembly, winding, insulation, tank fabrication, vacuum processing, oil filling, and testing.
  • Understanding transformer standards such as IEC 60076, IEEE/ANSI, and customer specifications.
  • Experience with quality tools including FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, APQP, and PPAP.
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and test procedures.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
  • 10+ years' previous work experience relating to supply chain and program management
  • Strong Project Management experience in handling multiple projects
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate, manages, and maintain status on tasking and optimize program output

IT SYSTEMS & SOTWARE SKILLS
  • MS Office tools: MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project.
  • Software: CAD Tools (NX,CATIA,Creo,Solidworks) ERP System (SAP), MES(Simatic IT, Solumina)
  • Analysis tools: Minitab14 and
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Siemens Teamcenter / ptc Windchill / Dassualt Innovia
