The Revenue Cycle Managed ServicesTransitionDirectoris responsible forleading the end-to-end implementation of revenue cycle managed services engagements for hospitals, health systems, physician groups, and integrated delivery networks. This role serves as theleaderoverseeing transition planning, operational readiness, workforce integration, technology enablement, governance, and performance stabilization.

The Director partners closely with client executives, operational leaders, technology teams, and managed services delivery leaders to ensure successful implementation of revenue cycle outsourcing and transformation solutions across front-end, mid-cycle, and back-end revenue cycle functions.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead all phases of managed services implementation, including assessment, planning, transition, go-live, stabilization, and ongoing optimization.

  • Establishimplementationgovernance structures, steering committees, workgroups, and executive reporting cadence.

  • Developimplementationroadmaps, milestones, risk mitigation plans, and success metrics.

  • Serve asexecutivepoint of contact for client leadership during implementation.

  • Direct transfer of operational responsibilities from client teams to managed services teams.

  • Develop and manage detailed transition workplans, including knowledge transfer and operational readiness activities.

  • Ensure continuity of business operations during workforce transitions and service migrations.

  • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams including operations, technology, HR, compliance, finance, and training.

  • Oversee implementation across all revenue cycle functions

  • Validate operational workflows and ensure alignment withindustrybest practices and contractual service level agreements

  • Partner with EMR, ERP, and automation teams to support implementation of technology-enabled revenue cycle solutions.

  • Lead workflow redesign initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and financial outcomes.

  • Coordinate integration of automation, AI solutions, analytics platforms, and operational reporting tools into future-state processes.

  • Ensure successful system readiness, testing, and cutover activities.

  • Build trusted advisor relationships with CFOs, Chief Revenue Officers, Revenue Cycle Vice Presidents, and operational leadership teams.

  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure timely resolution of issues and risks.

  • Drive client adoption of new operating models and governance frameworks.

  • Monitorimplementationbudgets, resourceutilization, and project financial performance.

  • Establish baseline performance metrics and post-implementation improvement targets.

  • Track key revenue cycle KPIs.

  • Ensure achievement of contractual commitments and implementation objectives.

  • Lead multidisciplinary implementation teams consisting of project managers, operational leaders, technology resources, consultants, and subject matter experts.

  • Mentor and develop implementation managers and future leaders.


What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or relatedfield. (Relevant experience may be substituted for formal education or advanced degree)

  • 10 years of progressive healthcare revenue cycle leadership experience.

  • 5+ years leading complex revenue cycle transformation, outsourcing, managed services, or large-scale operational implementations.

  • Demonstratedexpertiseacross front-end, mid-cycle, and back-end revenue cycle operations.

  • Experience leading large healthcare operational change initiatives involving multiple departments and stakeholders.

  • Strong executive communication and client relationship management skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multimillion-dollar engagements and implementation budgets.


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience with Epic, Oracle Health/Cerner, Meditech, or other major healthcare platforms.

  • Revenue cycle certifications such as:

  • HFMA CRCR

  • CHFP

  • ACHE

  • CPC

  • RHIA

  • Experience with managed services organizations, outsourcing firms, healthcare consulting firms, or provider organizations.

  • Knowledge of AI, automation, and digital workforce solutions within revenue cycle operations.
