Transcend is a global business transformation program that will modernize our foundational transactional processes and harmonize them into one clean ERP as a standardized platform for growth and efficiency gains.

This program will simplify the Pharmaceutical ERP landscape from 7 to 1, standardizing processes to have a cost-effective, fit-for-purpose digital backbone that will enable us to support the Pharmaceutical business with agility.

Additionally, the program will remediate the end-of-life system exposure that we risk towards the end of this decade.

We are seeking the best talent for a strategic and experiencedTranscend Senior Manager Business Test Validation to drive the end-to-end testing cycles of the SAP S/4HANA releases within a regulated pharmaceutical environment. This position will be located in Zug Switzerland with alternate locations to be considered in Titusville, NJ; Raritan, NJ, and Horsham, PA.

This role is responsible for delivering therelease testing strategy, ensuring alignment with key deployment achievements such as integration testing, Business Simulation Testing (BST), user acceptance testing (UAT), performance testing, and validation activities.

The candidate will bring deep expertise in ERP testing methodologies, a strong understanding of complex system landscapes, data integrity, and compliance requirements, and a collaborative leadership approach to successfully guide cross-functional teams through the global S/4HANA transformation journey.

This position will serve as the testing manager focused on a Transcend release, leading the testing cycles and achieving multiple key achievements on test completion. The Test Manager will complete a consistent, repeatable testing framework, ensuring alignment across regions and business units while meeting GxP and CSV compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Global Testing Execution & Standardization

  • Establish and implement a global testing methodology for S/4HANA releases to drive consistency and repeatability across regions and business units.

  • Define and lead governance for business test planning, execution, and defect management by standardizing tools, templates, and standard processes.

  • Ensure alignment with SAP Clean Core principles and maintain compliance with GxP, CSV, and regulatory requirements across all testing activities.

  • Coordinate business SME testers across testing cycles to enable aligned execution and timely delivery.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead global and regional testing teams across IT, business SMEs, system integrators, and validation partners to deliver aligned, high-quality testing outcomes.

  • Partner with Deployment Leads, PMO, and technical teams to align dependencies and drive integrated testing plans across releases.

  • Serve as the primary connection between program leadership and execution teams, aligning on scope, timelines, and testing readiness within the Testing Chapter.

Planning & Execution Test

  • Lead end-to-end test planning across integration, BST, UAT, performance, and regression testing to ensure high-quality delivery across releases.

  • Identify and manage risks by driving mitigation strategies that support quality, compliance, and on-time execution throughout the testing lifecycle.

  • Ensure readiness by validating test environments, data integrity, and business checkpoints, and coordinating timely resolution of issues during key achievements.

Change Management & Communication

  • Partner with Change Management teams to build collaborator awareness and ensure readiness for testing activities across global and regional teams.

  • Develop and support test playbooks, communication plans, and training materials to enable consistent execution across regions.

  • Deliver clear, timely reporting and status updates to senior leadership to support transparency and informed decision-making during testing phases .

Qualifications:

Education:

  • University level degree in supply chain, business/IT technical/scientific area or comparable education/experience.

Required:

  • 8 years of relevant work experience.

  • Deep expertise in ERP business testing strategy and execution for large-scale, multi-release programs, preferably in a global environment.

  • Proven experience managing complex testing cycles, including integration testing, UAT, performance testing, regression testing, and validation in regulated environments.

  • Strong leadership, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills, including experience working with business leaders, IT teams, system integrators, and global/regional teams under tight timelines.

  • Familiarity with CSV, SDLC, GxP compliance, and regulatory requirements for life sciences or other highly regulated industries.

  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences sector is highly preferred.

  • Proficiency with SAP S/4HANA testing tools and frameworks, including Solution Manager, Test Suite, and knowledge of Fiori and relevant modules.

  • Ability to develop and enforce global standards for testing methodology, tools, and templates across multiple releases.

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time both domestically and internationally.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$122,000.00 - $212,750.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Companys consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).



This position is eligible to participate in the Companys long-term incentive program.



Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation 120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado 48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington 56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays 13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave 360 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
